The training period spans 4 years under the Technical Entry Scheme (TES). The first three years are dedicated to phase-I training in the chosen engineering stream at the respective CTW. After completing phase-I, candidates move to phase-II for a one-year training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, or a designated Pre-Commission Training Academy. Upon successful completion of the 4-year training, candidates are awarded an Engineering degree.
