For individuals that are currently licensed by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, a change of status application is required if you wish to change your license status. Your license can remain in an inactive status for as long as you wish; however, you must continue to renew your license every two years by the renewal due date. Should you decide to reactivate your license, you will be required to show proof that you have complied with all previous continuing education requirements. To reactivate your license at a later date, you will need to complete the application for Change of Status from Inactive to Active.
